Leader of the Reason Party Fiona Patten says continuing to say ‘no’ to pill testing is “immoral”.
It comes after Falls Festival revellers received an urgent text message following a death at a music festival in New South Wales.
“To hear the NSW Premier say that she was devastated that another young person has died in NSW, it’s the third death in as many months,” Patten told Heidi Murphy on 3AW Mornings.
“Testing could have saved those lives, she has blood on her hands and to continue to say no (to pill-testing) is immoral.
“Just say no, is possibly the safest message but it’s not being adhered to.
“Pill testing is one tool in keeping kids safe.”
