Victorian Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton is expected to give evidence at a parliamentary inquiry into the state’s COVID-19 contact tracing system.
The upper house inquiry, chaired by Reason Party MP Fiona Patten, is also expected to hear from state virus testing head Jeroen Weimar as well as Australia’s chief scientist Alan Finkel…

“Through this inquiry we want to make sure that we have the best possible COVID-19 tracing and testing in Victoria so that we can stay COVID safe in the months ahead,” Ms Patten said in a statement.
“With zero new cases and no deaths in recent days, it’s important that we undertake this inquiry to ensure we keep those numbers low.”
