As 2016 comes to a close, we are looking back on Stephanie’s exploits. She has travelled to Sexpo, been shined in her gorgeous latex outfit from BabyVoodoo, done a summer chic look with Penny Lane, we have given Stephanie a fresh new body, and had many other adventures.
Here in Fiona’s office we have had a busy year all round, we started the ground-breaking End of Life Choices inquiry and have got government to agree to a Physician Assisted Dying bill, legalised Uber, got Safe Access Zones brought in for abortion clinics, started an unparalleled inquiry into drug law reform and pushed to legalise cannabis, got locally made products to be sold in the Parliament gift shop, introduced pull testing and safe consumption room trials bill, and introduced motions to stop discrimination against the adult industry.
We have been wonderfully proud of the work we have done this year and looking forward to even more progressive steps in 2017.
We wanted to give you a peek into what Stephanie will be up to in the new year.
In January for Midsumma, Stephanie will be dressed by a wonderful up and coming Melbourne brand called ‘between the lines clothing’, that was created by ” one lesbian who loved buying men’s clothes. She got fed up having to buy in men’s sections and also finding all these fantastic clothes there that weren’t seen as being for females! She decided to come up with her own designs and clothes to wear, hoping to also bring some joy to other women, men and those who don’t identify with her clothes that are about whether they look great rather than who it is specified for.”
You will be able to find Stephanie at the Fiona Patten MLC stall at Midsumma Carnival in January and in our window here at 747 all year long.
We look forward to sharing Stephanie’s adventures with you all in the new year.
Happy Holidays and a happy New Year!
