The Mental Health Foundation of Australia is organising a Mental Health Wellbeing Walk as part of Mental Health Week 2017. The 4km walk will be taking place on Sunday the 8th of October 2017 from 8.00am – 9.30am, Federation Square to the banks of the Yarra River where some refreshments and entertainment will be provided.
The walk aims to promote a positive attitude towards mental health and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
The funds raised from the walk will support Mental Health Foundation Australia to establish a helpline to support 1st year university students.
Participants will be asked to wear a white t-shirt and something blue to represent mental health.
